Politics on Your Plate

Everyone should know about Earl Butz. He was the Secretary of Agriculture  from 1971 to 1976 while former presidents Gerald Ford and Richard Nixon were in office. An alumni from Purdue University, he was responsible for industrializing our food so that we can have an infinite supply of it unlike pre-world war times. Fears that the U.S. may relive another great depression, he felt that it was necessary to pay farmers to grow more produce and if they could not then farmers were paid to relinquish their land. In the process of this, chemicals like nitrogen were fed to plants so that they grew more and were more sustainable. Now prior to this, many Americans could not afford to pay farmers for their fresh food which was the reason why many starved during the great depression. So by having  these convenience foods prepared in factories, it developed cheaper, and significantly low quality food. As a result, the next few generations of Americans were rapidly becoming obese.

In addition to these health problems that stemmed from the new low quality food, government health care spending increased and many Americans were in debt from paying for health care. Better quality food should have been the most important government expenditure. Unfortunately, it was not. In a utopian world it would have been.

The government allowed major companies like Monsanto that supplied guns and armor to the military, to use harmful pesticides on our crops and engender soy beans to be used on every farm. Why is the military involved in our food and medicine. Its just morally-incorrect.

Why should politics and science in our food be acceptable? We are humans not experiments. Why don't we place nutrition as the prime important aspect of our lives? Because we've been brainwashed! It was silently done by chemically induced foods that enhances flavor that we tend to think we need. It was also done by the popular rise of television media. Do not let them fool you! Fool me once shame on You, fool me twice shame on Me.

Living in a world where profits matter more than the greater good of society, the well-being of humanity is often overlooked. Hey, population was not much of a problem before the industrialization of food...

Be at War With Yourself First

Its so important to be not only health-literate but "holistic" health-conscious. We have been sadly misinformed about a plethora of our health issues and there is a large gamut of information that is hidden from us. This is all to uphold national economic wealth which profits from the pharmaceutical industry.

I started my health journey for a number of reasons and I am still astounded by all of the new information I learn about every day. Sometimes I feel like its too late but its never to late. The war begins with you. Hence, we are so brainwashed by the toxic food that we eat and the toxic advertisements we are exposed to.

So before you can begin to be at war with anyone else you must first be at war with yourself. You must challenge yourself by giving up the food you are so accustomed to. You will realize that you were only addicted to them for taste. Usually a sweet, salty or fatty taste.

We can no longer neglect how significant the food we ingest and digest is to our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. It is proven that most infections and DIS-EASES derive from unhealthy food consumption. So wake up people!

It is also proven that all illnesses and DIS-EASES can be cured by eating vegetables and taking herbs.

Listen to Dr. Afrika and Dr. Sebi on Youtube...Matter of fact listen to Dr. Afrika right NOW!

Trust me just give it a chance. It'll change your life! It certainly changed mine.
